Who operates this site

NookPlan is operated by NookPlan Editorial Desk. The operator is based in China.

Calculator inputs

Room dimensions, material settings, and furniture measurements are calculated in your browser. The current site does not send those inputs to a NookPlan server and does not require an account. Do not enter names, addresses, or unrelated personal information in calculator fields.

Hosting and security logs

The site is hosted by Tencent Cloud (Singapore). The provider may record request time, requested page, IP address, browser and device information, and error details to maintain security and availability. Hosting-log retention is handled as follows: Managed on the operator-controlled Nginx server according to its active log-rotation configuration.

Cookies and local storage

The calculators do not require account cookies. NookPlan sets Google Consent Mode to deny analytics and advertising storage before Google tags load. The Privacy Policy page itself does not load Google Analytics or advertising scripts. You can clear stored browser data through your browser settings.

Google Analytics

On other pages, NookPlan uses Google Analytics 4 under measurement ID G-29GV3Q4RZQ to understand page visits and general site use. Before the Google tag loads, Consent Mode v2 sets analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization to denied. With analytics storage denied, Google Analytics does not read or write analytics cookies, although it may send consent-aware, cookieless measurement requests containing page, browser, device, referrer, approximate-location, and consent-state information.

NookPlan does not send room dimensions, material settings, furniture measurements, or other calculator field values to Google Analytics.

Google AdSense

Eligible content pages load the Google AdSense publisher tag so that the certified consent message and approved advertising features can operate. This Privacy Policy page does not load the Google AdSense advertising script or display ad units.

If NookPlan later enables Google AdSense, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website or other websites, subject to the visitor's consent choices and applicable law. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to NookPlan and other sites on the internet.

Visitors can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings. Where other advertising vendors are enabled, their names and privacy information will be available through the consent interface; visitors may also review industry opt-out options at YourAdChoices. NookPlan uses Google Privacy & Messaging on eligible content pages to present applicable consent choices.
